__Doug McLean, Photographer
Doug McLean has lived most of his life in Saint John, New Brunswick. A graduate of both St. Francis Xavier University (Engineering) and UNB-Saint John (Data Analysis), Doug's "day-job" is President of McLean Micro, a computer firm established almost twenty years ago.
Doug first became interested in photography as a child, when one day his father brought home the station wagon filled with “stuff”, and said “we are building a darkroom.”
Many years later, on weekends and evenings Doug's wife Karen often accompanies him to interesting locations so he can view the world from different angles and capture what he sees. Doug especially enjoys photographing birds and other wild creatures. His dog (Piper) and cats (Zaphod and Nero) frequently find themselves in front of his lens.
Many of Doug's Facebook albums are viewable by the public: http://www.facebook.com/Doug.MadSci.McLean?sk=photos
